Position Highlights

Position Summary

The Radiology Technologist supports department coverage by performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Position Highlights

+ PRN coverage based on department needs

+ Required participation in on-call rotation (evenings, weekends, and holidays)

+ Small department with opportunity to work independently

Qualifications

Required

+ Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

OR

+ Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program

+ Must be eligible for ARRT certification

Preferred

CT certification and/or experience

Responsibilities

+ Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols

+ Ensure quality imaging and patient safety

+ Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams

+ Follow radiation safety and infection control standards

+ Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS

+ Participate in CT training; cross-training is required and can be provided

+ Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient care

+ Support department workflow and coverage needs
